At University of Borås we are doing research that will make it possible to replace a significant part of the world fuel consumption with waste. Ultimately, this will contribute to reduce the green house effect and other environmental problems. Besides the discovery of a little fungus with almost magical abilities, we’re also busy with turning several wastes such as old jeans and orange peels into biofuel, developing technologies for producing electricity, heat and cooling and new materials from waste.
